The 2026 Ford Super Duty
Maintenance Schedule
Your 2026 Ford Super Duty is the backbone of your business or your ranch. Keeping it out of the shop and on the road requires strict adherence to the factory maintenance schedule.
The extreme summer heat and heavy hauling demands of Wichita Falls put immense stress on any vehicle, but proper preventative care ensures your Super Duty remains a reliable asset for years to come.
Power Stroke Diesel Maintenance
If you choose the 6.7L Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel, your maintenance routine will look slightly different than a traditional gas engine. Diesel engines require Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) to reduce emissions.
Your truck will alert you via the digital instrument cluster when this fluid runs low, and you can easily refill it next to the standard fuel cap. Additionally, you must replace the diesel fuel filters regularly to prevent debris from damaging the high-pressure fuel injectors.
Intelligent Oil Tracking
Whether you drive a gas or diesel model, Ford uses an Intelligent Oil-Life Monitor to calculate exactly when your oil needs to be changed based on your engine idle time, towing frequency, and operating temperatures.
When the alert appears, bring your truck to The Ford House. Our factory-certified technicians will use genuine Motorcraft oil and filters designed specifically for the extreme pressures of the Super Duty engine block.
